4. Using the results of stages 1 to 3, structure all the elements to make a satisfying shape. You may need to add things to make one section flow into another, however, don't be afraid to use silences.

 

4.1 Invent a satisfying beginning and end.

When adding anything new, try to use existing material in a different way. Choose an idea from early in the piece which can be made to sound very different.

 

4.2 If you don't have one already, decide on a title.

4.3 Rehearse the piece, perform and record it.
