GCSE pupils from four secondary schools in London and Brighton, and London Sinfonietta players, perform their own compositions inspired by the music of Pierre Boulez. Workshops will also be posted on the site, enabling teachers across the United Kingdom to participate in a ëremoteí project. The performance includes a demonstration of the London Sinfoniettaís Boulez internet site, BOULEZ ON-LINE.

The site will be on display in the foyer of the RFH.

A very special birthday present from SBC to Boulez - Rolf Hind performs twelve SBC commissions composed by: Harrison Birtwistle, Luciano Berio, Elliott Carter, György Kurtág, George Benjamin, York Höller, Jonathan Harvey, Magnus Lindberg, Philippe Manoury, Unsuk Chin, Wolfgang Rihm and Toshio Hosokawa.

A limited edition CD recording of this concert will be available shortly after the concert ends (included in the ticket price).
